This week we have started to talk about government forms. From the first week of school, we have discussed the reasons for laws and government. They understand that. Now, as our standards states, we will discuss the ideas and define what is a Direct Democracy, Representative Democracy or the Republic, and Monarchy systems of government. Then students will need to understand the rights and responsibility of "citizens" in these systems of government.
