Today you spent some time in class looking over your History with Holman.  I heard kids say: We did a lot, Holy Cow, This is crazy, I remember doing this, The first day with my laptop, I ...ect...  I think you were surprised at how much we covered in our 181 days and 120 hours (remember less time then one sport).  I hope you learned things, not covered them.  We will see.  What did you think as you saw your History with Holman, let me know by adding a comment.  Mr. H

I cant believe how fast this year has gone by from cavemen to exploration we covered it all in just 181 days of school. Most of all I will miss how fun Mr. Holman makes social studies so much fun. Coming into this year I thought social studies was so boring memorizing fact after fact but Mr. Holman made it like a game. Mr. Holman is so grawsome.

I’ve seen that I have learned a lot more new things from my history with Holman every day I learned something new about the history, of our world and it is really fun to learn, because you get to learn about a lot of stuff that happened before your generation and I think in the future things like this will be very helpful to the people because you can always look back on what you have learned, and teach others what you know.

I really like learning about the things we learned about this year. This school year went really fast but it looks like a LONG time on our History With Holman. I hope that social studies or world history will be this fun forever.

I cannot believe all of the things that I learned this year. I have learned everything from the Middle Ages to the Catholic Reformation and Human Migration to Caves and Prehistoric Art. This class really made Social Studies enjoyable to study and learn!

It's so cool to see what we did over the year. I forgot a lot of it, but it's cool to go back and see it. I think that the History With Holman is kind of like a diary or a journal, and it's a smart way to make sure we don't forget what we did this year.

This year went by so fast!! It's so sad to think that I won't be able to see everyone in just a few weeks....Although I did not like social studies, this learning process really got me to like it more!! The Blogs definitely helped me learn what I needed to learn...Thanks Mr. Holman!
