I think that it is really cool how making a little thing like a sundial can turn into something that is a big part of our life. What would the world be like without time?

I think it was more efficient to have you converse with someone because it showed that someone agreed with your points.

I wonder what it would be like if the invention which triggers every other technology was not invented. It is really amazing by how one small or large invention can have a huge enduring impact on society.

Haha I though the conversation was funny. Here is one of my essential questions. (Was on DA) What would happen if there would be no time? (Clocks)

I wonder what would happen to our world if the ancient philosophers never wondered about the world? For example, if Indians never wondered about the planets!

Haha, I actually really liked it. My favorite invention that we have been talking about so far is also the sundial. I believe it was invented by the Chinese!

I find it amazing how people's minds have advanced so much over time. Just think--if someone hadn't picked up a rock and thrown it, attempting to chop something in half, we wouldn't have so much of the technology that is used today.

Some great comments here. I am glad you found the alarm clock and Mr. P's vacuum funny. It was good to read some of your essential questions as well. I hope you are starting to "see" the world in new eyes. And if you can't see it yet, keep looking--it will get clear.
