Our Legacy Map: Where are you now?

The idea for this Legacy Map came after several discussions with Travis Armstrong at Davis Middle School in Dublin, Ohio. We were talking about how to get students to think beyond classwork to the skills and qualities needed in the world beyond middle/high school.
I keep thinking about how a my map could be used to show were former student were and what "FOOTPRINTS" they are leaving for others to follow. Many of my former students have a legacy in the classroom (digital projects, the online textbook, movies, blogs, music videos, and so much more). My students today meet them in a digital world of their past work and efforts. They pave a path for others and inspire them to work hard and take risks. Now, they can see where this effort and hard work has taken them around the globe. I hope over the next few months this map fills up with many of my former students. You are an inspiration.
Thank you for making the last 18 years at Beachwood an exciting and rewarding time.
