1. Remember to use the vocabulary words in your blog post.  

2. Describe how you got to your city-state.  Remember you are writing in First-Person, so your story must be written in your words and about you.  This is historical fiction, so you must blend the facts you learn with the story of your traveling back in time to ancient Sparta or Athens.

3. Describe the geography that you see around you after landing in your chosen city-state (Athens or Sparta).  How do you think that the geography effects the lives of the people there?  What are the advantages and disadvantages of the geography?

4. Compare and contrast the geography of your city-state with the geography of modern day Northeast or Central, Ohio.  What are the advantages and disadvantages of your modern day city's geography to your life and the success 
of your city?
