Over the last few weeks, we have been addressing the following state standard:  The civilizations that developed in Greece and Rome had an ENDURING IMPACT on later civilizations (US).  This LEGACY includes GOVERNANCE and LAW, ENGINEERING and TECHNOLOGY, ART and ARCHITECTURE, as well as LITERATURE AND HISTORY.

You  will need to pick one to three of the I can statements listed below and then plan and build an interactive for each I can statement for your blog that PROVES you understand the state requirements.  These "I Can" statements come from the Green County ESC and are based on the Ohio 7th Grade Standards.

1.  I can describe Greek Democracy
2.  I can describe the Roman Republic
3.  I can describe how Greek Democracy and the Roman Republic were radical departures from monarchy and theocracy
4. I can explain how Greek Democracy and the Roman Republic influenced the structure and function of modern democratic governments.
5. I can cite examples of the impact that Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome had on later civilizations.
6.  I can explain the impact that Ancient Greece and Ancient Rome had on later civilization
7.  I can demonstrate how maps and other geographic representations can be used to trace the development of human settlements from  the past to the present.
8.  I can describe how geographic factors can promote or impede the movement of people, products and ideas.
9.  I can explain how trade routes connecting Africa, Europe, and Asia fostered the spread of technology and major world religions.

To complete your evidence, you have many choices.  You can make any of the follow:
Prezi
PowerPoint
Voki
Thinglink
dipity

Imovie
Online book---WE NEED HELP HERE!
Stop Motion

Complete this google form for class tomorrow, after you have thought about what you will be doing.  OR COMPLETE IT BELOW.

Plan Sheet--Once on this page, click FILE and make a COPY.  That will put it in your google drive so you can edit the file.
