Mr. Holman and Mr. Pennington are extremely excited to welcome everyone to class this year!  Our goal is to make your experience in our social class unique, outstanding and different from every other class you have ever taken!  We will not just use technology to learn, but use technology to give all of you a VOICE.

For Students
You will create your own Window to the World to share your experiences and create knowledge, not just memorize content.  CMS and BMS students will collaborate, share, create, laugh and learn with each other throughout the year.  Learning is a journey, not a destination!!!

Mr. Holman and Mr. Pennington will work tirelessly to help you find success and become inspired to bring your own life experiences into your learning in this class.  We see our role as teachers as someone who is here to teach you the tools and create a base of contextual knowledge that allow you to lead your own learning.

For Parents
Mr. Holman and Mr. Pennington have been collaborating to create the classroom of tomorrow for the students of tomorrow for almost 7 years.  We pride ourselves on creating a content-driven classroom that teaches students how to use technology for academic purposes.  We want to create life-long learners that are inspired to continue digging deeper into everything that interests them.  This blog is what Mr. Holman and Mr. Pennington use to communicate to parents.  As the year progresses you will see that our goal as teachers goes beyond testing and collecting data.  We strive to personalize learning and create a classroom environment where students are encouraged to take their learning into their own hands (with our guidance of course) .  Learning requires knowledge and creativity.
