Well students of CMS, the year is almost done.  In one short week you will officially be eighth graders!  You guys have done a great job this year and hopefully you take the skills and lessons learned with you the rest of your life.  Remember, always set big goals, hold yourself responsible for reaching those goals and never stop expecting more from your education.

Below is a short survey concerning social studies class and CMS in general.  The answers to this survey help Mr. Holman and I reflect on how we teach.  It also helps me began conversations with the school district about changes that could be made to help your learning experience be even better!  This, like all the surveys we have completed this year, is YOUR chance to have an active voice in your education.
Thanks for a great school year!

It can be in first persons (friend of Martins looking back at events) or as a formal summary.
Include: The causes, the events leading up to the Reformation, and the effects of the Protestant Reformation.

You should include all of the following words: Heretic or heresy, excommunicate, Purgatory, Sale of Indulgences, Tetzel, Reformation, Protestant Reformation, 95 Thesis, Diet of Worms, Recant, Faith Alone, Printing Press, Fredrick the Wise, Humanism, Local Langauges, Papal Bulls, and Martin Luther.
