In our thoughts....

2/27/2012

The tragic events in Chardon today, make us all take time to stop and think about the important things in life: family, friends, and loved ones. My thoughts go out to the Chardon students, parents, teachers and community members.
One student sent me this poem:

Things like this should never happen,
But sometimes they still do.
Although we are not there in body,
Mind and with our hearts, we are with you.

All we can do is hope and pray,
that recovery is down the road.
This will always be in our memories,
If only we could help carry the load.

Many districts in the nation are wearing red tomorrow as a way to honor the students of Chardon.  I hope you will, I know I will.  Mr. Holman

None of us have any idea the magnitude of what the Chardon Schools are going through right now. But you are all in our hearts and prayers. Time helps to heal, but the memory will always be there. You are in our prayers not just now, but in the future as well.

Thinking of you although times get tough,
And sometimes things go wrong,
Remember, Chardon, that it’ll be okay,
No matter what is going on.
Thinking of you although days can be grim
And sometimes the sun seems grey.
No matter what happens, no matter how bad
Remember, it’ll be okay.

Although we move on,

We will not forget,

Although it gets better,
We’ll always regret.

Nothing can fix this,

We will always feel pain,

But we can make it better,

There’s still so much to gain.

It’ll always be sad,

We can’t take it away,

It’ll never be perfect,

Because of this tragic day,

But we can keep our heads up,

Look out for the future,

Try to keep smiling,

And do our best to find closure.

Be there for the others,

For the ones who need us most,

Let them know they can lean on us,

‘Till the pain’s just a ghost.

We’ll always remember,

There’s no going back,

We’ll always remember,

The good day turned wack.

I know what happened,
On that horrible Monday day,

Things like that should never happen,
But sadly, they still do,
Sometimes, things get tough,
But...
Remember, Chardon
Everything will be alright,
No matter how bad,

All we can do is hope and pray,
That recovery is around the corner

We will never forget this day...
Best Wishes Chardon!
