Welcome students from Chardon and Beachwood Middle!!  This year Mr. Holman and I are going to keep all of our class information on the same blog.  This will allow all of our students to communicate and collaborate between schools.  Within the first few weeks of school we will use Skype to meet face-to-face...virtually!

If there is important information for either CMS or BMS, Mr. Holman and Mr. Pennington will use different color Fonts (Yellow=BMS and WHITE=CMS)  Please feel free to comment on any blog post, no matter which school it comes from throughout the year.

Mr. Holman and I are very excited to continue working together with all of our students.  Are goal is that you have the best learning experience possible!  We will collaborate on the online textbook, web quests, projects and use our social studies class to not only learn about the ancient world, but how it effects life in Chardon and Beachwood.  I am sure that for as many differences that may exist between Chardon and Beachwood, there are five times as many similarities.  Learn from each other and grow into creative free-thinkers and problem solvers.  All Mr. Holman and I ask of you is that you give everything your best effort and stay focused on understanding the world around you.  We want you to have a voice, to share what you know with the world and never be afraid to ask questions.

-Mr P. and Mr. H.
